Deal Statuses & Workflow

Understand the deal lifecycle and status transitions.

Deals progress through a defined workflow with status transitions that represent the deal lifecycle.

Deal stages

PendingDeal record created, awaiting documentation
For ProcessingDocumentation and due diligence in progress
In RealizationContract stage, final negotiations
WonDeal closed successfully
LostDeal did not proceed

Status transitions

Pending -> For Processing -> In Realization -> Won

  • Deals move forward through the pipeline stages.
  • A deal can only move to Won or Lost from In Realization.
  • Deals cannot skip stages (e.g., Pending cannot go directly to Won).

Stage requirements

  • Pending to For Processing: Requires at least one property assigned and client contact confirmed.
  • For Processing to In Realization: Requires documentation uploaded and manager approval.
  • In Realization to Won: Requires contract signed and payment confirmation.
  • In Realization to Lost: Requires reason for loss recorded.

Stage requirements can be configured in Settings > Workflow Configuration.
